Spring-Now is the Time!
by Sharon Freewoman

Spring has announced its presence as life
begins to awaken throughout the northern
hemisphere. Like the turning of the seasons,
change is inevitable, destruction and renewal
is the continuous dance of the universe.

Each change of the seasons brings the excitement
of new adventures, new clarity, new possibilities
to engage in harmonious creativity with others
and maybe even a little romance!

Now is the time to be “present” with these fast
moving transitions not only on the global scale
but within our own spheres of influence.
The tendency to dwell in the past or fantasize
about the future is best curtailed as we truly
must concentrate on the NOW. This
moment in time is what matters most.
What thoughts, words and actions you take at this
time creates the path your life will follow next.

We have all witnessed the terrible tragedy
playing out in Japan and the incredible movements
for liberation in other parts of the world . Now is
the time to bring our conscious thoughts to focus
on projecting hope and with it our determination
to survive and thrive by being flexible and
adaptable to the forces of the natural world.

Slow down and breathe deeply. Look at where
you are in your life and what you are doing.
What is most important to you at this time?
Follow through on those things you feel most
passionate about. Time is the most precious
commodity we have and before beginning the
flurry of activity we are feeling lurking within
us as spring unfolds take the time to just
“be”. Let the magic and mystery of the universe
flow through every cell in your body, allow your
mind to sort through the “woulda, shoulda, coulda’s”
and then let them go as they hold us back from
following our true path. When we are able to sit
in stillness the very essence of our beings will
direct us to the path most beneficial to
manifesting our dreams.

Out of the destruction and chaos of this time our
increasing awareness of the infinite possibilities
of human potential is helping us to realize how
connected we are to one another and the planet.
Understanding that we need to release that
which we are so desperately trying to hold on
to from the old order of things and begin to
embrace the “be here Now” philosophy will
help us to see the human race not as victims
of this process but as co-creators, as we take
responsibility for our actions in each moment.
Release your fears and doubts and live
fully within each and every moment of the day

Spring is the time for planting. Plant the seeds
of hope, faith and charity, Nurture these seeds
with your generosity of spirit in whatever way
feels right to you. Like the flowers now
poking their heads up through the snow, striving
to reach the warmth as the days lengthen, we will
be made stronger by surviving these changes and
will find ourselves blossoming in the coming days.

Happy Spring!
